RAR showcases original art from the late 17th century to contemporary, along with a limited selection of signed or rare prints. Explore artists such as Alfredo Ramos Martinez, Tim Wistrom, Jean Dufy, and many more.
The RAR collection offers treasures not only for their advanced age or rarity; but also because of their intrinsic beauty or historic significance: 18th century needlework, 19th century local ephemera, and 20th century treasures.
A few iconic examples from our many hundreds: Presidents Wilson, Regan, Bush, Clinton, and Carter; Musicians Kesey, Lynyrd Skynrd, Madonna; Actors Bette Davis, Lon Cheney Sr., Depp, Del Toro, Travolta.
The RAR booth at LGMIP will roll out new content each week for viewing. Country western and rock and roll memorabilia will be featured on certain weeks to complement the musical section. To celebrate the birthday of the USA, we will show a “never seen by the public” picture of JFK and the Frist Lady as they set out in the fateful parade, and many other presidential autographs and memorabilia.
Don’t miss the digital unveiling of four works of art by prominent Latin artist Alfredo Ramos Martinez later this summer. See us July 1, July 22 and August 19 at the Los Gatos Jazz on the Plazz, when we will feature memorabilia of the ‘Rat Pack.’ Join our mailing list to stay up on the announcements and to stop by each week to see the new arts and rarities”
